Current trends in Ukrainian construction leads to using a wide assortment of glass. The interest varyes from the sun-glazing to the facade glazing .

Safe (tempered) glass

Foreign construction companies and Ukrainian ones began to use the safe glass or, as it is also called, tempered glass. It is the sheet glass processed by the special tempering. As a result of the technological process in volume of glass the distribution internal tensions arise and increase mechanical strength of glass and special (security) with the destruction of nature. Thanks to these characteristics the glass is recommended as for glazing of facades, cottages, saunas, shower booths, as for the production of furniture, windows and balcony doors.

Advantages of the safe glass are the following:

• strength (bending on the strength of glass after heat treatment - from 120 MPa);
• impact resistance (stronger than normal glass in 8-10 times);
• destruction into small fragments so that traumatic is minimized (from 1 to 10 mm, the size of fragments does not exceed the width of the glass);
• the high thermostability (high temperature ranges from -150^oC to +300^oC);
• the high rate of deformation of glass, which depends on its thickness.

In 2003 the Altis-Glass company organized the new workshop of the glass tempering in accornace with the nessessity of mooving the standarts of the safe glazing.

To tempere the glass means:

1. The pre-cutted glass is placed into the horizontal furnace. The temperature inside the furnace is from 680^oC to 710^oC. Our equipment let us work up with the glass of the size 2100 mm x 3600 mm and 4-19 mm in width. In particular cases a sheet of glass may be up to 3900 mm long.

2. The production process is managed by a computer where all technological parameters are set including the width of the glass, its size and the temperature difference.
3. Glass is high temperature processed and stood to cool to the temperature of 30^oC - 50^oC. And then the glass is ready to use.

Tempered glass is used not only in places where strength glass needs, but also it is used to ensure the energy-saving properties, the effect of reducing condensation of steam and bandwidth fewer ultraviolet. In addition, along with the use of safe

The tempered glass prevents the effect of  "termoshok", termoshok is the glass destruction because of the uneven heating.

Enamelled facade glass

The enamelled glass is a solid, safe and  thermal stress sustainable glass. In the case of destruction the enamelled glass is breaken into the small bits with blunt edges. This material s applied to fill the non-transparent zones in the building facades and is used as an element of an interior decoration and a furniture.

Altis-Glass produces the enamelled glass facade using the modern equipment. We have the line of enamelling "Kera Glass Rainbow 220" and the furnaces for tempering glass "Tamglass HTF Pro E-2126-CTA-10-R". In the process of temperung a thermodiffusion coating is fixed on the glass and a system of internal stresses is generated. Both processes improve the glass performance characteristics.

"Altis-Glass" offers 6 basic colors of enamel (for the glass sheets more than than 50m²) and the whole RAL-palette (for the glass sheet more than 150m²).
