An indisputable fact is that metal-plastic construction (particularly, metal-plastic windows and doors) have recently entered to our lives; they provide a comfort in office premises, new residentials or reconstructed houses.

Advantages of these constructions are obvious:

• good heat and noise insulation characteristics those protect against cold, noise and dust city streets;
• convenience and ease of the operation: metal-plastic windows do not require painting or repair, as well as additional insulation in winter; they are resistant to atmospheric effects, environmentally safe. Thanks to their high plasticity  such constructions can be of any configuration.

In 2002 there was established the company “DAK” what has successfully mastered this direction. The Company work on the new equipment of the firm "SCHURING" that makes possible to produce translucent construction of any complexity in the shortest time. They may be as metal-plastic constructions as aluminum ones.

The range of metal-plastic windows is wide. Now in Ukraine PVC-frames 70 mm deep or more become popular. Such windows with an energy-saving double glass are "warmer" in 20-25% than the windows of the standard depth profiles (60 mm).

Talking about the modern design trends the most of sold metal-plastic window constructions are still traditionally rectangular ones. But the laminated profile or exclusive forms of the windows for houses and cottages, those are created by the original projects are in demand now.

New technologies such as aluminium windows and facade systems came to replace the old types of constructions (eg. metal-plastic structures) espessially if we talk about the large commercial or office centers.
