On the construction of affordable housing will allocate 1,8 billion hryvnia
Dmitry Isayenko, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Construction of Ukraine, reported that the Finance Ministry has welcomed the state affordable housing program and intends to seek, in the prepared draft state budget for 2010 1,8 billion hryvnia for its implementation.
-- However, according to Dmitry Isayenko, "the exact amount of
funding that will provide the state can be called only on April 11,
when the draft budget will be ready."
The Deputy Minister also noted that the cost of housing by the state program in 2010 will not exceed 4500/kv.m in all regions of Ukraine and 5900/kv.m in Kiev. Land for construction of affordable housing will be allocated free of charge. The program will provide the state an individual investor to the first 30-percent contribution, the remaining 70% of the value of the property investor will have to pay yourself. Preferential mortgage lending by banks in the program is not provided.
