Concept of Kiev Master Plan transferred to State Expertise
According to Sergei Bronevitsky, acting Chief of Urban Planning, Architecture and Urban Environment Design, Kiev council plans to approve the concept of the main Kiev planning documents - Kiev General Development Plan to 2025.

the concept of the main Kiev planning documents - Kiev General
Development Plan to 2025 -maximum in September 2010. Particularly,
at the moment the concept of the plan has already been transferred
to the Institute "Dnipromisto" for the state
examination.
"Once the concept of the General Plan of Kiev will be considered at Architecture and Town Planning Council of the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction of Ukraine, it must be agreed by Ministry of Regional Construction, after - by city council", - said Sergey Bronevitsky. Upon approval of the concept by plan developer - KO "Centre of Planning and Architecture" – work on General Plan development will be continued. "At the first quarter of 2011 the General Plan development is expected to be finished, and at the end of the first half-year period of 2011 General Plan is expected to be approved, agreed, and pass public hearings", - he said.
