The top-managers of the customer and the general contractor (the companies "Ukrtorg Ltd." and "Altis-Holding Corp.") were present at the procedure of the  "first concrete".

Mr. Glimbovsky, the CEO of the Group of companies "Altis-Holding" has commented the event, "The end of the "zero cycle works is a significant stage of the construction. Now all neighbours and all potential owners of the appartments in this complex are able to watch the overground building process. A foundation of the next section will be installed at the same time. Moreover, the construction works will be done without any weather or season breaks".

Because of the nessersity of the non-stop concrete delivery to the site there was choosen a weekend as working days. According to the technology the foundation installation needs a non-stop concreting of a metal sceleton. There were occupied 350 concrete mixers. The total volume of the concrete is more than 2300m³. The process had been lasting 14 hours.

The plate is 1.5m wide, it's strong enough to increase the structural strength. A parking and a technical store will be built at this foundation. The work will take 1 month. There were pile installation works as preliminary works at this site. There were installed 754 piles: they are 25 meters deep to reinforce the building. The first pile was installed on the 19^th of May 2008. As previously reported the scheduled terms of the complex construction are the same - 2010.

The customer of the project "Silver Springs" is the Company "Ukrtorg Ltd". The first stage of the multi-function complex will be 24-floors building. Its GLa will be 44 615 m². The first two stores will be occupied by retail galleries. Their summmary area will be 3 917 m². There will be a food supermarket, a food court, offices, a pharmacy, a dry-cleaner's, a hairdresser's. There will also be a kindergarten there. Beside the building construction "Altis-Holding" will also do a landscape design and a land environment.
