LVIV DANYLO HALYTSKYI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

According to the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, in 2011 Lviv Danylo Halytskyi International Airport was granted a diploma as one of the best infrastructure facilities.

The new terminal at Lviv Airport meets international construction and technical standards, as well as the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and recommendations of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

The construction of the new terminal at Lviv International Airport was completed with the latest achievements in technologies for modern passenger service and aviation.

IMPLEMENTED SYSTEMS, TECHNOLOGIES AND EQUIPMENT

• automated baggage handling system;
• telescopic passenger landing and embarking walkways;
• airborne craft docking systems;
• power supply systems for aircraft (400 Hz);
• aircraft air conditioning systems;
• recording system;
• steering system of airport operating highlights, including a centralized office control centre;
• airport IT infrastructure, including two independent data processing centres;
• a set of passenger aviation security control systems;
• a security system suite that include integrated video surveillance, access control, burglar alarms, and a centralized office control centre;
• multimedia complex, including flight information display system;
• TETRA trunked radio network;
• system of speakerphones;
• aircraft VHF communications system;
• automatization and dispatching of engineering systems;
• passenger navigation system inside buildings.
